For more than 27 years, I have had the privilege of coaching athletes, parents, leaders, and families through some of life’s most meaningful challenges and opportunities for growth.

I’ve seen parents deeply invested in their children’s success, yet quietly struggling under the weight of expectations, pressure, and emotional attachment to outcomes.

When a parent’s emotional well-being becomes tied to a child’s performance, both lose freedom. Parents become anxious. Children feel pressured. Relationships become strained.

What children need most is not a perfect parent. They need a grounded parent — one who remains calm when emotions run high, stays curious rather than judgmental, and influences rather than controls.

That is why I created Foundations to Mastery for Parents.
